As a logistician, your day usually starts at your personal locker, where you put on your BELANTIS work clothing. By the start of your shift, you are reachable via your work phone and radio so that suppliers, parcel services, and external companies always have a point of contact. During a team coffee, you check your email for messages about planned deliveries or additional orders.
Next, you deliver the pre-picked goods from the previous day to the designated locations and take care of returning and storing recyclables, crates, and empties. At the same time, you receive new deliveries, check them for completeness and quality, and record them in the inventory system. Packages are accepted, distributed internally, and consumables are issued or restocked as needed.
In the afternoon, you start picking orders for the next day. All packed goods are carefully checked, secured, and labeled with delivery notes so they’re ready by the next morning. Once the last items are stored, the warehouse is secured, and all gates and doors are locked, you can end your day with a sense of accomplishment—ready for new logistical challenges!
