New shows and attractions bring fun and entertainment to the AbenteuerReich.

Now it’s time for a new adventure for the whole family! BELANTIS – Das AbenteuerReich opens its gates for the new season on April 5 and invites all guests on an exciting journey through space and time. This year, new shows, new characters, immersive events, and special activities for young and old adventurers alike are on the program at Central Germany’s largest amusement park.

“To offer even more fun and experiences for the entire family, we have expanded our offerings for the 2025 season. Shows, events, and special activities are a key part of this and will allow guests to immerse themselves in various historical and legendary themed worlds,” says Winnie Vorsatz, Marketing & Commercial Director at BELANTIS.

New Shows for the Whole Family and New Characters
Greek mythology brings fresh stories! This year, guests can look forward to the new show ‘The New Tasks of Hercules’ in the Arena of Zeus. The world is in turmoil, the gods are fed up with humans – and vice versa. Now it’s up to Hercules, the young demigod hero, to mediate. With the help of his friends and at the peak of his abilities, he must take on new tasks and perform heroic deeds.

Also new is the interactive participatory show ‘Adventures with Buddel’. In this family-friendly show featuring the beloved park director and mole Buddel, guests learn more about his adventurous journey through space and time. The show takes place on the stage of the Petit Théâtre de la Mer and combines play, fun, and dance.

In addition, the AbenteuerReich comes alive with new characters like courageous cowboys on the prairie, mysterious magicians, and a traveling wishing box that makes little dreams come true. These interactive experiences add even more adventure and heroic moments to BELANTIS.

Expanded Offerings to Discover: Attractions and Dining
The popular attraction ‘Odysseus’ Journey’ has been expanded for the 2025 season. Onboard, there’s now even more to experience. The interactive boat ride in the Strand der Götter (Beach of the Gods) area takes adventurous guests on a journey through ancient Greece. Scanning the QR code at the attraction lets visitors dive even deeper into the world of myths with exciting audio stories. For all explorers, new impressive elements along the route make the journey through the realm of the gods even more breathtaking.

The culinary journey continues as well: Following its successful introduction in 2024, the bubble tea selection has been expanded – the cult drink is now available in almost every bistro, along with the popular bubble waffles. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy a wide selection of delicious cakes at the Schloss-Café. For savory options, the Bistro Bodega at the Küste der Entdecker (Coast of Explorers) now serves freshly prepared tacos starting in 2025.

Exciting Events and Activities
A highlight of the season is the Zuckertütenfest on August 9, with extended opening hours until 8 p.m. The grand school enrollment party at BELANTIS delights countless first-graders every year. Together with Buddel the mole, the school starters experience an exciting first lesson. In addition, a BELANTIS candy cone adds little surprises to celebrate the start of school, alongside various planned activities.

Winter-born children can also benefit from a special promotion: guests with birthdays between November 1, 2024, and April 4, 2025, can visit the park once for free between April 5 and 13, 2025. Proof of birthday (e.g., ID card or health insurance card) is required.
