Leipzig, April 3, 2025.
BELANTIS Amusement Park has a new owner: Compagnie des Alpes, a leading company in the amusement park and ski resort industry, has acquired Event Park GmbH, the operator of BELANTIS, from Parques Reunidos.
The acquisition is based on a company valuation of €22 million. Starting April 3, 2025, BELANTIS will operate under the amusement park division of Compagnie des Alpes.
BELANTIS welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests each year, delighting families with its attractions across various themed worlds. With its large area for future developments, the park offers significant potential in the growing Leipzig region. Direct access to the highway and proximity to Dresden and Berlin are additional location advantages. In the long term, an annual visitor potential of up to 900,000 guests is anticipated.
“The acquisition of BELANTIS is a fantastic opportunity for Compagnie des Alpes. This location has real strengths that, combined with the group’s expertise in operational excellence, marketing, and customer satisfaction, give us great confidence in the park’s future development potential,” comments Dominique Thillaud, CEO of Compagnie des Alpes.
François Fassier, Director of the Leisure Parks Division at Compagnie des Alpes, adds: “We are excited that BELANTIS is now part of our group. We look forward to working with the local teams to write a new chapter in the history of this park together.”
With this acquisition, BELANTIS is positioning itself for the future. Guests can look forward to new initiatives that will enrich the AbenteuerReich in the coming years.
