Four new child-friendly rides, an adventure playground, and food and beverage options expand the offerings for families.

BELANTIS is expanding its family offerings and provides further insights into the new theme area, which was first announced in December 2025. Idefix’ Adventure Land is designed for families with children aged 3 to 8 and features age-appropriate rides, interactive play areas, themed dining, and souvenir offerings. The official opening is scheduled for late spring, shortly after the start of the season.

The new theme area is centered around Asterix, Obelix, and Idefix. At the heart of the area are five new attractions, specifically designed for younger guests:

• Idefix’ Flussfahrt – A mini water ride by the French manufacturer Reverchon. Gentle waves and lovingly designed scenes provide young children and their families with their first water ride experience.

• Fahrschule Frischling – Type Speedway, manufactured by Zamperla. Children take the wheel themselves and gain their first driving experiences in a playful way.

• Aerobix Flugmaschine – Type Magic Bike Ride, manufactured by Zamperla. Families control the ride’s height with their own movements, creating an interactive flying experience.

• Seifenkistenwirbel – Type Go Go Bounce Ride, manufactured by Zamperla. This dynamic round ride with playful ups and downs ensures energetic fun for young riders.

• Idefix’ Versteck – Adventure playground by spielart from Thuringia. The nature-inspired play area offers a variety of climbing and movement elements, stimulating children’s imagination.

For personal encounters, meet & greet opportunities with Asterix and Obelix are available. Visitors can meet their favorite heroes up close, take photos, and create lasting memories. The overall experi ence of the new theme world is rounded off by the lakeside kiosk Bei Köstlix and the souvenir shop Idefix’ Schatzkiste. Guests of all ages can enjoy savory oven-baked sandwiches with ham and cheese or crêpes. In the souvenir shop, a variety of fan items are available – including the cuddly Idefix plush, which families can take home as a keepsake.
